Luke's Ghostbusters backpack
Luke brings in a cheap Ghostbusters backpack, to represent the expensive replica proton pack he had custom-made by someone in England for A$4,000.
Tom Gleeson points out that it doesn't seem very pretentious, and Luke admits that he didn't actually look up the definition of the word in advance, but just wanted to claim his backpack as a tax-deductible expense.
Tom points out that being sensible with your finances is the antithesis of pretentious. He ultimately awards Luke last place, pointing out that Ghostbusters is a very popular film, and than spending so much money on his replica is not 'pretentious', but 'stupid'.
