Julia starts with New Zealand

Julia starts squirting blue paint at the canvas from the balcony, and manages to land most of it on target.

She then switches to squirting gold paint, which she uses to add 'New Zealand' to her painting first.

She tries to dribble Tasmania onto the map using pink paint, but manages to get it all over the canvas.

She then adds black paint, in no discernible pattern, followed by more pink paint, progressively creating more and more of a mess.

In the studio, Julia admits that she effectively gave up on the task within the first minute.

Tom Gleeson describes her painting as depicting "an emotion about Australia", rather than the country itself, but awards her second place.
