Luke leads an improv sketch
Upon meeting Dr Joel, Luke expresses his sympathies for the fact that Tom Cashman must have died and been replaced.
Luke's first strategy is to turn his stool upside-down and then ask Dr Joel to sit on it. When the doctor suggests it is dangerous, Luke agrees to do it first, and then Dr Joel follows suit on his stool.
Luke then switches strategy to making Dr Joel do a series of inappropriate things while Luke pretends to officiate a funeral, such as stretching, balancing a shoe on his head, flipping Luke the bird, and calling Luke a loser. Each time, Luke calls Dr Joel out for behaving inappropriately at the funeral.
In the studio, Tom Gleeson observes that, by making Dr Joel participate in an improv sketch, he'd definitely made him look a fool.
Luke shares that he was inspired by a funeral he'd attended, at which one of the guests was sat back in his chair with his hands behind his head. He suggests that there are just some poses that should not be permissible at funerals, and then demonstrates this by putting his foot up on his chair and saying "I'm sorry for your loss" (thus coining the episode title).
Tom Gleeson awards him second place.
