Ivo's buoyant book boat

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Ivo orders "balls (ping-pong)", balloons, a banana, some blue tack, and a book. He blue-tacks four ping-pong balls to the underside of the book to provide buoyancy, and also attaches four inflated balloons to the top. He then puts a big wad of blue tack in the middle of the top of the book, and attempts to press the egg into it, acknowledging that he might have slightly neglected the egg. While he is doing this, he manages to break the egg. He then just eats the banana. In the boat race itself, Ivo's boat crosses the finishing line fourth, after 2 minutes and 4 seconds. However, after Frankie is disqualified, he moves up into third place.
