Nikki makes things complicated

Nikki searches the shed for something that can help. When David asks her if she knows how long a second is, Nikki counts out a second, which actually takes her two seconds. She sets up a complicated procedure to transfer the egg, involving two butterfly nets and a paddle. Nikki picks up the egg and places it on a paddle (covered in a butterfly net), then tips the egg into a second butterfly net, and drops that net into the wine glass. However, the weight of the net pulls on the wineglass, which falls off of the plinth and breaks. David points out that the egg was in the wine glass before the glass broke, and so a judgment would need to be made in the studio. Unfortunately for Nikki, a slow-motion replay shows that the egg was on the paddle for too long (at least two seconds). Nikki is therefore disqualified, and earns no points.
