Linnéa snatches defeat from the jaws of victory

Linnéa wonders if there’s anything in the shed that can help, but declares that what she really needs is some sort of force field, so she can move the egg without it touching anything. If Linnéa searches the shed, it is not shown. She instead carefully picks up the egg plinth and moves it towards the plinth supporting the wine glass. She then starts folding what appears to be a handkerchief, intent on cushioning the egg in the glass. However, she gives up on that idea almost as soon as she has it, and instead simply picks the egg up and lowers it into the wine glass. She immediately realises that she likely touched the egg for longer than a second while doing so. David confirms this suspicion in the studio, though the actual length of time is not given. Linnéa is therefore disqualified, and earns no points.
