Task brief
The task brief is held by David, just outside the front of the Bäst i Test house, where there are two plinths: one supporting an egg, and the other supporting a wine glass. The brief for the task is as follows:
Put the egg in the glass.
If the egg breaks, you’re disqualified.
If the glass breaks, you’re disqualified.
If the egg touches something for more than one second, you’re disqualified.
You may not move the glass.
You have 7-8 minutes.
Fastest wins.
Your time starts now.

Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Images will be added later.
- Henrik mimes picking up the egg and quickly putting it in the glass, wondering if it’s something he can do in a single second. Deciding to test his theory, Henrik goes to the shed and retrieves a few foam balls. He moves the foam balls from the egg plinth and into the glass as quickly as he can. After briefly testing to see if he can move the egg quicker if he takes a running start (which just results in his missing the glass), Henrik decides to just “Bruce Lee it” with a quick arm movement while standing still. Henrik leaves one of the foam balls in the glass to cushion the egg when it lands, and prepares himself to move it by breathing deeply. He successfully moves the egg into the glass without either breaking, and a slow-motion replay reveals that Henrik only touched the egg for 0.97 seconds while moving it. Henrik moves the egg in 5 minutes 45 seconds, and wins the task by default.
- Immediately after reading the task, Anne picks up the plinth supporting the glass, and sets it back down directly next to the egg plinth. Anne also seems to be under the assumption that the one-second rule only applies to herself actually touching the egg, as she slowly slides the task brief under the egg, in preparation to move it to the glass. When David reminds her of the one second rule, Anne realises that it applies to anything touching the egg, and so quickly picks up the egg and puts it into the glass. She is disqualified, and earns no points.
- Nikki searches the shed for something that can help. When David asks her if she knows how long a second is, Nikki counts out a second, which actually takes her two seconds. She sets up a complicated procedure to transfer the egg, involving two butterfly nets and a paddle. Nikki picks up the egg and places it on a paddle (covered in a butterfly net), then tips the egg into a second butterfly net, and drops that net into the wine glass. However, the weight of the net pulls on the wineglass, which falls off of the plinth and breaks. David points out that the egg was in the wine glass before the glass broke, and so a judgment would need to be made in the studio. Unfortunately for Nikki, a slow-motion replay shows that the egg was on the paddle for too long (at least two seconds). Nikki is therefore disqualified, and earns no points.
- Linnéa wonders if there’s anything in the shed that can help, but declares that what she really needs is some sort of force field, so she can move the egg without it touching anything. If Linnéa searches the shed, it is not shown. She instead carefully picks up the egg plinth and moves it towards the plinth supporting the wine glass. She then starts folding what appears to be a handkerchief, intent on cushioning the egg in the glass. However, she gives up on that idea almost as soon as she has it, and instead simply picks the egg up and lowers it into the wine glass. She immediately realises that she likely touched the egg for longer than a second while doing so. David confirms this suspicion in the studio, though the actual length of time is not given. Linnéa is therefore disqualified, and earns no points.
- Marko carefully picks up the egg plinth and moves it towards the plinth supporting the wine glass. The egg starts to roll around the plinth, but Marko is able to deftly keep it balanced and unbroken while moving. Unfortunately for Marko, just as he places the egg plinth down, the egg rolls onto the wine glass plinth and falls to the ground, breaking. Marko is therefore disqualified, and earns no points.
