Ivo's lucky mortarboard

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Ivo brings in a mortarboard hat with the following items attached to the top of it: a maneki neko Japanese bobtail cat figurine; a figurine of the former Manchester United footballer Steve Bruce (who he says has brought him luck in his career by writing some terrible detective novels that Ivo then got paid to review on a podcast); two playing cards (seven of clubs and two of diamonds) representing his lucky hand, when he used to play a lot of poker; and a silver spoon, which he acknowledges was in his mouth when he was born. He argues that Frankie had earned lots of points in the previous episode for "putting a load of random guff on a graduation hat", so he'd decided to do the same. Greg awards him joint third place.
