Timo is very unobservant

Timo wonders what would be characteristic of Pilvi, as it could inform where she would be hiding. He remembers that she brushes her teeth a lot, so he makes a bee-line for the bathroom, to search for her. After finding her outside and reading the second task brief, Timo recalls seeing only the service bell (“one of those ding-ding bells”) and the task brief itself. When Pilvi asks if the lab contained anything else, he insists that those were the only items present (though it’s clear that he knows there were others), then stops Pilvi’s stopwatch himself. In total, Timo lists just two of the 12 items, and comes last. However, Jaakko gives him a bonus point for his “unwavering self-confidence” (the first of several such points to come, for the same rationale, in this episode).
