Ida suffers through the potato

Ida predicts that someone would be lazy and just eat the Dumle, while no-one would eat the cat food.

She starts to eat the potato, and initially states that it is much better than she anticipated, but then it seems to get progressively worse for her. She manages to eat the entire potato, though, by regularly sipping on the bottle of wine between each bite.

She ultimately earns joint fourth with Steinar, though, since he made the same decision.
