Everyone participates in a blind race

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

In the first round, Ida moves Amir’s piece forwards one space, and Einar’s forward by two spaces. Steinar then moves Einar’s piece backwards by one space (leaving it in the second square), and Solveig’s piece forward by two spaces. Solveig then moves Steinar’s piece forward by two spaces, and her own piece back by one space (putting it in the second square). Einar then moves his own piece forward by two spaces (putting it in the fourth square), and Solveig’s back by one space (putting it back in the first square). Finally, Amir moves Ida’s piece forward by two places, and moves Einar’s back by one place (leaving it in the third square). In the second round, Ida moves Amir’s piece forward by one space (putting it in the third square), and her own backwards by two spaces (putting it back in the first square). Steinar then moves Solveig’s piece forward by three spaces (putting it in the fourth square). Solveig then moves Ida’s piece forwards by one space (putting it in the second square), and Amir’s and Einar’s pieces backwards by one space each (putting them both in the second squares). Einar appears to have identified which is his own piece by this point, and so moves it forwards again by three spaces (putting it in the fifth and final square). Finally, Amir moves Ida’s and his own pieces one space forwards each (putting them both in the third squares), and moves Einar’s piece backwards by one space (putting it in the fourth square). Only one contestant moves any pieces in the third round, as Ida moves Solveig’s piece backwards one space (putting it in the third square), and Einar’s forward by two spaces (taking it across the finish line). Einar’s piece therefore wins the race and five points, while Steinar’s piece is in second and earns four points (in the fourth square), Amir and Solveig earn 3 points each in third place (in the third squares), and Ida comes last with one point (in the second square).
