Steinar's poetry and punch pliers
Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.
Steinar gives Atle a box and, before he opens it, praises him in a poem titled ‘King Atle’. The end of the poem reveals his thought process behind the gift, as he observes that Atle’s trousers had been slipping down a lot because his belt has too few holes. Steinar has therefore gifted Atle a quality set of punch pliers, to make more holes in his belts. Before even seeing anyone else’s gifts, Atle says that Steinar will earn first place. In the end, however, Steinar earns second place.
