Kathrine tries to get sneaky

Katherine checks out the microwaves and the jugs of cordial, and admits to Mark that she has no idea what she might be asked to do.

After thinking for a while, she wonders if the whole set-up is actually a joke - that her time will actually stop once the task brief is opened, and that the real task is therefore about waiting the longest to open the envelope.

After about 11 minutes, she once again asks Mark if he thinks she should open the task.

While he’s answering her, she tries to sneakily open the envelope behind her back.

Unfortunately for her, not only do the cameras catch her, but Mark is able to hear the paper ripping.

The rest of the footage of Kathrine’s attempt suggests that she was not able to hold the jugs aloft for very long.

Her exact total time is not given, but the implication is that it was not much longer than 11 minutes.

She earns third place.
