Maria's unforgettable rendition of O Hellige Natt
Maria asks the mayor what she likes which, unsurprisingly, turns out to be politics.
Unfortunately for Maria, they turn out to be on different ends of the political spectrum (Maria had recently attended a Norwegian Young Conservative Party National Assembly, whereas the mayor supports the Labour Party), and then Maria offers to vote for a group (AUF / the Worker’s Youth League) which isn’t even a political party.
Ashamed at what she has to offer, politics-wise, Maria switches to performing push-ups, and doing mediocre dance moves, instead.
Her final offering is to sing O Hellige Natt (O Holy Night), very off-key, and at a high volume, while frequently glancing at her phone to remember the lyrics.
She finishes her attempt by offering the mayor a hug.
It is revealed that the mayor thought that Maria clearly didn’t know what she was doing, and she also describes her version of O Hellige Natt as being like nothing she’d ever heard before.
Maria is therefore awarded four points for her 'unforgettable' display.
