Maria flings a pitchfork

Maria decides to throw a pitchfork like a spear, and hopes to use the height of the umpire’s chair to her advantage.

She does a practice throw before climbing up to the top step of the chair.

The red plank is laid at the base of the chair.

To triumphant music, Maria wobbles at the top of the chair, before throwing the pitchfork a somewhat mediocre distance.

In the studio, Olli reveals that she'd actually thrown the pitchfork 2 metres farther in her initial practice attempt.

With a weight of 1.9 kilograms, and a distance of 5.7 metres, Maria’s actual attempt earns her 10.8 points, and fourth place.
