Maria's spectrum of masculinity

Maria creates a spectrum of things from most to least masculine.

It goes: radio, nails, lightbulb, matches, tinned food, grater, banana, candle, hair ties, kids games, postal scale, clothes peg, then pink felt square.

She calls her system "the women’s struggle".

When Olli asks if she thinks Atle will like it she says no, but notes that it’s not always important what Atle likes. She feels like her system is dignified, and that's what's important.

Atle wonders how useful her system is when it comes to trying to locate things, but he commends Maria for creating a system which means that he will always be confronted by his own opinions when trying to find something. He awards her "a politically correct second place".
