Kathrine’s higher education fails her

As Mark introduces Kathrine’s attempt, he informs the audience that Kathrine is actually an educated woman, somewhat foreshadowing her performance.

After reading the task brief, Kathrine expresses her frustration to Mark that she has no plan about how to complete the task.

She quickly talks herself into the belief that the only way for the task to be completed is to throw the bear, so she does so.

This naturally does not go well, as the bear only travels about a third of the way along the course.

Kathrine notes that she has completed higher education, so she “can't possibly be this stupid”.

Already aware that she has failed the task, Kathrine still stubbornly sees it through by manually dragging the bear the rest of the way to the finish line.

When Mark asks how she feels, Kathrine calls herself “a gigantic loser”, but also tries to convince herself that the other contestants might be just as stupid.

She is disqualified for not remaining behind the line during her attempt.
