Bruce prepares a custom comedy show-themed itinerary

Here's a brief description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working writing up more detail!

Bruce Dessau came up with a customised itinerary for Alex's time in Melbourne, based on each of Alex's previous stand-up shows.

Firstly, he recommended a visit to Melbourne Aquarium, based on Alex's 2003 show Making Fish Laugh. Secondly, he recommended attending the comedy 'mind-reading' show Simon Taylor: Pieces of Mind, based on Alex's 2004 show Every Body Talks, which was about reading people's body language.

Thirdly, he recommended attending a Latin mass, based on Alex's 2005 show When In Rome, which was about the dead language of Latin.

Fourth, Bruce recommended eating at the restaurant The Aviary, based on Alex's 2007 show Birdwatching, which recounted Alex's experience of trying to beat his father at spotting birds.

He suggested that Alex should take a look at an online dictionary of Australian slang, based on Alex's 2008 show Wordwatching, in which he recounts his attempts to get a new word into the English dictionary. Connected with this theme, he also recommended Alex use the car rental firm Honk, in reference to Alex's attempt to get the word 'honk' to take off as a slang term for money.

Bruce recommended that Alex visit the jazz club Bennetts Lane, based on Alex's 2010 The Horne Section show.

Finally, he recommended that Alex spend some time at the Crown Casino, based on Alex's 2010 show Odds, in which he recounted his attempt to win an outlandish bet.
