Josie makes a wide range of reccommendations
Here's a brief description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working writing up more detail!
Josie Long made arrangements for Alex to be introduced to the most famous horse in Melbourne by the Mayor of Melbourne, and to be given a tour of the State Library Victoria (including viewing Ned Kelly's armour).
She told him to visit the Sticky Institute fanzine shop, in the Degraves Street Subway, and introduce himself at the counter to receive something from them.
She recommended that he eat Indian food from Red Pepper Restaurant on Bourke Street, and Vietnamese food from Pho Bo Ga Mekong Vietnam restaurant on Swanston Street, or from somewhere in 'Vietnam Town' on Victoria Street.
She told him to go shopping on Brunswick Street, walk along the beach at St Kilda, eat cakes on Acland Street, visit a bookshop on Gertrude Street, drink espresso from a place called Brother Baba Budan on Little Bourke Street, and eat at Harambe Restaurant on Nicholson Street.
She also recommended he watch comedy performances by Geraldine Hickey, Lawrence Leung, Andrew McClelland, Felicity Ward, and Josh Thomas.
Finally, she told Alex to run around the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.
