Bubbah’s orange

Bubbah goes very route one with her prize and brings in an orange.

She attempts to argue that things did not have colour billions of years ago because it was “too hot for colour”, and that colour has only existed on Earth for about 75,000 years, since it cooled down enough.

Her argument ends with the statement that the orange just exists as orange.

Karen questions whether any of what Bubbah said was true, but Mel backs her up by pointing out how all photos used to be black and white.

Dai mockingly backs Bubbah up by observing how on really hot days you just can’t see colour (which becomes a running joke throughout the episode).

Bubbah appears to have bamboozled Jeremy with her ‘science’, though, as she somehow earns second place.
