Karen denounces New Zealand
Karen decides to denounce her love for New Zealand, suggesting that it’s like New Zealand leaving her.
She uses a marker pen to draw over her New Zealand tattoo and turn it instead into Australia.
She then role-plays with Paul at the ‘Department of Internal Affairs’, declaring that she no longer wants to be a New Zealand citizen, before singing the Australian national anthem.
Paul interrogates Karen on her opinions about Australia, leading her towards having to say that Australia is just better than New Zealand, which she visibly and audibly struggles to do. In the studio, she denies that it had been painful to make that statement.
She earns last place for not having even left the room that the task began in.
