Mel consults the fish poster

Mel remembers there is a fish poster in the shed, so quickly retrieves it to help identify the correct tapes to play.

She gets the words “fastest wins” from the first tape and then “the” from the second.

She continues, getting the words “entered”, “your”, and “snap”, which throws her a bit, because she thinks it must be referring to the fish named ‘snapper’.

She continues and gets the word “pencil”.

She then rewinds all of the tapes and works back through them again, carefully timing them as instructed to reveal the full task brief.

She snaps the pencil after 20 minutes and 25 seconds, earning second place.
