Marte makes up her own tasks
Marte begins by tearing all of the task briefs off of the plastic hanging from the walls and putting them all on the table in stacks of 10, convinced that the others will surely have done the same.
She then counts all of the collected task briefs, declaring that there are a total of 107 (she missed the one in Olli’s jacket), and that the task has been solved.
When she notices that Olli has not stopped the clock – and will not allow her to – she starts to open up the briefs.
When she comes across one in Latin, she asks Olli if the task is to figure out how many different languages are written on the tasks, and then declares that they are all written in either Norwegian, Latin, or Finnish (she is wrong, as there is also at least one written in Spanish).
However, Olli still does not stop the clock, so Marte continues opening the task briefs, eventually finding the real one.
After thanking Olli, she asks him if any thanks would have counted (as in, if she had thanked him for telling her how much time had passed).
He confirms her suspicion by pointing out that at the beginning of the task, he had wished her luck, and she had not thanked him in return, and that she should consider that a life lesson.
Marte thanks Olli after 12 minutes and 32 seconds, and earns fourth place.
