Bubbah’s Samoan broom

As Bubbah’s prize submission is revealed on the screen, it gets recognition from some people in the audience, which pleases her.

She reveals it is a ‘salu’ - essentially a broom made from twigs and branches - which she says you would find in any Samoan home.

Bubbah recalls using it when she was little and being surprised at how useful it was, and how it was able to clean up things that a vacuum couldn’t.

She says it’s also very good for getting beaten with.

When Jeremy questions it, Bubbah says it’s “like magic” and “just finds random shit you didn’t know was there before, like meth”.

She earns 2 points.
