Dai Sellotapes his balloons
Dai finds some Sellotape, and returns to the study stating “work harder, not smarter” (getting the phrase completely backwards).
He seems to inflate the balloons with multiple breaths, wasting some of his time. He calls two of them Leo and Michaelangelo.
While drawing a face on one, he drops it off the edge of the desk and then gets down on his knees, puts his fist on his chest, and mourns his “fallen soldiers”.
He seems oblivious to the fans turning on, while he’s drawing a face, causing three of his balloons to get blown off the desk. He never seems to directly acknowledge the fans, instead noting only that “it got a bit windy”.
He mourns several of his balloons which get blown off individually by name, mourning Anthony, Lucy (Dai’s daughter’s name), Charlie (Dai’s son’s name), and Neil. He is in the middle of mourning Tulsi (Jeremy’s wife’s name) when his time runs out. He then notes that Tino Fa’asuamaleaui (name of an Australian rugby league player) hadn’t even made it onto the desk.
With 9 balloons on the desk, he earns fourth place.
