Mel duct-tapes her balloons

Mel fetches some red duct tape, which she lays across the desk in strips, sticky side up, so that she can just place the balloons on them as she inflates and draws faces on them.

She also decides that all of her girl balloons are called Jess although, when Paul asks her what the one she’s currently tying is called, she names it Jessica.

When the fans are turned on, it causes one of the loose balloons she’s just placed on the desk to blow off, and one of her taped strips of balloons is also blown off the edge of the desk, but the balloons all remain attached to it. She apologises to all of her Jesses, and then simply reattaches the tape to the end of the desk, losing only the one loose balloon.

With 26 balloons on the desk, she earns first place.
