Dai focuses on Clash of Clans

Before even reading the task brief, Dai attempts to show off to Pearl the “cool” way he's developed of opening the tasks by slicing the seal open with his fingers.

He then asks Pearl if she plays Clash of Clans, which she doesn’t, but he still brings up the fact that he’s got a “skux village”.

He then re-enters the lab with a skateboard and rolls a very short distance across the lab. He also performs the robot dance, and pulls off a cartwheel.

With seven minutes left on the clock, he gets worried because he’s already running out of cool things to do.

He therefore returns to talking to Pearl about his cool Clash of Clans village, which he said he would show her, if he had his iPad. When Paul suggests that he could download it on his own iPad, Dai complains that he would then need to log into his account on Paul’s device, and Paul could then mess with the village, which wouldn’t be cool. Instead, he starts just describing his village to Pearl.

When the plastic sheeting on the wall of the lab starts to fall down behind him, Dai admits that he’d hoped the sound was someone coming to rescue him from the situation.

He finishes his attempt by striking a cool pose.

While defending his attempt in the studio, Dai notes that he’d done “a pretty skux cartwheel”, thus coining the episode title.

He earns third place.
