Mel incorporates ‘trapeze’, ‘denim’, ‘plod’, and ‘pussyfoot’

In the first round, Mel’s chosen word is ‘trapeze’, so she makes a speech about her time in the circus, noting an incident in which she became tangled in an elephant’s trunk, and another in which she almost died on a trapeze and a trampoline. Jeremy incorrectly guesses that her word was ‘elephant’, so she survives the first round.

In the second round, Mel’s chosen word is ‘denim’, so she accepts her “Denim Award” in Blenheim, hesitating for a while before claiming that she’s accepting the award for all the semen that she’d drunk. Jeremy – somewhat understandably - incorrectly guesses that her word was ‘semen’, so Mel survives the second round.

In the third round, Mel’s chosen word is ‘plod’, so she accepts her “Sauntering Award for the Best Kind of Walk”, before listing some different walking gates, such as jigs and skips, but noting that she prefers to go for a plod. Jeremy incorrectly guesses that her word was ‘jig’, so she survives the third round.

In the fourth round, Mel’s chosen word is ‘pussyfoot’ She struggles with this, just saying “pussyfoot”, before pausing for several seconds, and then starting to say “and other things you can find…”. Jeremy correctly guesses that her word was ‘pussyfoot’, and so Mel earns second place.
