Christian makes some piles

Convinced that the task would be too boring if the very first card was black, Christian turns over the first card of the deck and discovers that it is red.

When Olli asks Christian if he is a gambler, Christian replies in the negative.

Christian then cuts the deck and draws another card at random, finding that this one is also red.

He then cuts the deck into several individual piles, arbitrarily moving individual cards from one pile to another, before drawing further cards at random, while keeping his eyes on Olli for clues.

After drawing seven red cards in a row, Christian wonders if he should stop.

When Olli informs him of his current score, Christian questions whether it’s even possible to get a higher one.

He decides not to take the risk of drawing any more cards, and leaves the lab.

He earns third place.
