Marte taps into her sixth sense
Marte looks at the deck, immediately sensing that something feels “fishy” about them, and stating that she’s determined to crack the code.
She’s convinced that the task involves more than just a randomly-shuffled deck of cards, the results of which would be based entirely on either luck or probability.
She fans the deck out on the table, face-down, runs her fingers over them, and wonders if she has a sixth sense.
She then pulls out three cards at random, and flips them over, discovering that they are all from the red suits.
After flipping over four more cards, she realises that the entire deck is probably comprised of cards from the red suits, and so she turns all of them over.
Marte earns joint first place.
