Lucy goes for the obvious
Lucy believes that the other contestants will not use items in the living room, as they’d be too afraid of repeating objects. She therefore decides to stay in the living room and only get underneath objects there.
She first gets underneath the chair, then decides to go for the most obvious things, reasoning that the other contestants will have avoided them.
Lucy’s obvious choices – presented in montage with Susan’s footage, to highlight how many objects the two chose in common - include all six of the sofa pillows, the side table next to the sofa, the table underneath Greg’s portrait, a saxophone, the sofa, a stool, and the rolling bar table.
Lucy does find some unique things in the living room, including a teacup and a vase filled with feathers (which seems to have been counted as two separate items).
In the studio, Alex reveals that Lucy only got underneath 12 items in total, of which only three were actually unique. After penalties, Lucy earns fourth place.
