Kevin tries to make a flamethrower
Antoine’s starting heart rate is 72 BPM.
Kevin leaves the lab and comes back with a lighter and an aerosol spray can, rhetorically asking Antoine if scaring him would increase his heart rate.
However, whenever Kevin sprays the flame, all he manages to do is blow it out, rather than create a hand-held flamethrower.
After several failed attempts at creating a flamethrower, Kevin has managed only to lower Antoine’s heart rate to 70 BPM.
Kevin then switches tactics, opting to give Antoine a shoulder massage instead. During the massage, Kevin attempts to surprise Antoine with a loud noise; unfortunately, his chosen noisy item is a bicycle horn, which was fairly muted, and had little effect on him.
Kevin then has Antoine dance around while still seated in the chair, for the remainder of his time. This results in Antoine’s heart rate raising to 89 BPM.
For some reason, Kevin is officially credited with raising Antoine’s heart rate by only 15 BPM (instead of 17 BPM), and he earns second place.
