Kevin throws in the towel

Kevin’s attempt is shown as part of a montage of contestants who had particular difficulty with the task.

He is unfamiliar with several of the toys on the table, as he says he never had them when he was a child. He is confused by the trick candles, and dubs the monsters “Satanic things”.

It does not occur to Kevin that the fidget spinner can spin on its own on the table; instead, he has Antoine hold it in one hand.

Likely for comedic effect, he has Antoine hold the hour glass in his other hand, replacing the tablet.

At no point does Kevin ever correctly have the Newton’s cradle do its thing; instead, the line of balls rock back and forth in unison on their strings.

He eventually admits defeat, and leaves. Kevin is therefore disqualified.
