Mel rolls the egg inside a tennis ball

Mel comes up with the idea of putting an egg inside another object, and decides upon using a tennis ball. Using a knife and wearing some gloves, she conceals the egg inside of the ball.

To be safe, she still tries to avoid touching the tennis ball as much as possible, creating a makeshift chute from the desk towards the stairs using some chairs, a black sheet, and some planks. She pushes the ball down the chute with her hand at first, but then uses a leaf-blower to get it moving again after it becomes stuck.

She then continues to use the leaf-blower, and also tries using a plank to guide the ball safely down the stairs.

She then sets up a ramp into the locker using cling film, and uses the leaf-blower to get the egg up into the locker, and past the finish line, completely intact.

In the studio, her strategy of using gloves to avoid her touches counting is debated, and she says she’s fine with those touches being counted.

She therefore ends up with a count of just four touches, and earns third place.
