Julian’s children’s book

Julian brings in a children’s book that he finds amusing as a “renowned homosexual”. The book in question is Biggles Takes it Rough by Captain W.E. Johns.

When Greg questions what the title means, Julian replies that Biggles (a military pilot) finds active service quite rough.

Alex points out that of the almost 100 Biggles books, nearly half of the titles can be interpreted as innuendos, including Biggles Gets His Men, Biggles and the Dark Intruder, and The Camels Are Coming.

Greg awards Julian second place.
