Susan needs more red

If Susan uses any sort of reference image, it is not seen in the footage of her attempt.

She is shown with a bag of markers, but almost exclusively worries about not having enough red.

Susan starts out relaxed, but when she realises that she really does need to fill in all 100 memo squares, she panics, and appears to spend much of her time complaining that the pile of memo squares isn’t getting any smaller.

Greg is unfamiliar with Susan’s recreation, which is revealed to be of Mark Rothko’s Untitled (Red).

In reference to the fact that Susan’s red marker had started to run out of ink, during the final couple of rows of memo notes, Alex points out that Rothko’s single colour paintings often did include different shades of the colour.

Greg awards Susan joint third place, along with Julian.
