Everyone rolls their dice

On his red die, Julian writes ‘pig’, ‘elephant’, ‘cow’, ‘horse’, and ‘mouse’. His sixth animal is unknown.

On her orange die, Lucy writes ‘carp’, ‘Shih Tzu’ (misspelled), ‘mice’, ‘cat’, and ‘duck-billed platypus’ (misspelled). Her sixth animal may have been ‘tarantula’ (also misspelled).

On his yellow die, Sam writes ‘pig’, ‘mammoth’, ‘human’, ‘stick insect’, and ‘eel’. His sixth animal is unknown.

On her green die, Sue writes ‘sea cucumber’, ‘blue whale’, ‘panther’, ‘elephant’, ‘giant squid’, and ‘mammoth’.

On her blue die, Susan writes ‘dog’, ‘cat’, ‘snake’, ‘monkey’, ‘ant’, and ‘puma’.

In the first round, Greg announces the most boring animal rolled will be eliminated. Susan rolls ‘dog’, Sue rolls ‘elephant’, Sam rolls ‘mammoth’, Lucy rolls ‘mice’, and Julian rolls ‘mouse’. Julian is eliminated for having a singular mouse, rather than plural, which Greg judges would be marginally less boring.

In the second round, Greg announces that the most dangerous animal rolled will be eliminated. Alex observes “We know there’s a mammoth” before the contestants make their rolls. Susan rolls ‘snake’, Sue rolls ‘blue whale’, Sam rolls ‘mammoth’, and Lucy rolls ‘Shih Tzu’. Greg decides that the snake is the most dangerous animal to humans, so Susan is eliminated.

In the third round, Greg announces that the animal rolled which would make the worst pet will be eliminated. Again, Alex observes “We know there’s a mammoth” before the contestants make their rolls. Sue rolls ‘giant squid’, Sam rolls ‘stick insect’, and Lucy rolls ‘duck-billed platypus’. Greg decides that a giant squid would make for the worst pet, so Sue is eliminated.

In the fourth and final round, Greg announces that the animal rolled which is most like him will win the task. Yet again, Alex observes “We know there’s a mammoth” before the contestants make their rolls. In a stroke of amazing luck, Sam rolls ‘human’, while Lucy rolls ‘duck-billed platypus’ again. Sam therefore wins the task.
