Kevin creates a honey barrier
Kevin pours the entire jar of honey out onto one of his hands, then puts his sticky palm into the pile of rice. Arguing that there is a honey barrier between himself and the rice, Kevin goes to the study and scrapes his hand off on the bottle, using his fingers to push as much rice into it as he can.
Using whatever remnants of honey he has left, Kevin then glues the breadsticks together and covers one side with honey, running his creation through the remaining pile of rice.
He carries the rice-and-honey-covered breadsticks to the study, once again scraping as much of the rice as he can into the bottle.
He does eventually do the sensible thing of using the empty honey jar to try to transport rice as well, using one of the breadsticks as a spatula to poke down the sticky clumps.
Surprisingly, there is no argument about Kevin’s strategy in the studio, and no accusation that he had touched the rice with his hands.
Kevin transports 108g of rice, and earns third place.
