Kevin goes boom

Kevin predicts that he himself will win the task.

He finds an empty recycling bin, and starts to fill it with water. As it fills, Kevin stands on a ladder nearby, and mimes throwing a basketball into the bin, imagining what the resulting splash will be.

He then swaps out the basketball for a brick. When this decision is questioned by Antoine, Kevin explains his logic: “the heavier the object, the more it’ll go 'boom!'.” With this logic in mind, Kevin finds his ultimate object in the shed: a bag of sand.

He sits on top of the ladder and tosses the bag of sand into the recycling bin, splashing both himself and Antoine in the process.

Kevin creates a 4 metre high splash, which technically earns him second place. However, after a debate in the studio about Mona’s interpretation of the task, Louis awards Kevin joint first place with Mona, plus the 5 bonus points for correctly predicting that he would win.
