Kevin and Marie-Lyne take turns
As they both use their grabbers to pick up the task brief, Marie-Lyne suggests that perhaps this could be the one task where Kevin refrains from saying “Yo”. Kevin replies that it’s just his gimmick. This leads to Antoine dubbing the pair “The Yo Team” in the studio.
As Marie-Lyne holds a slice of watermelon to Kevin’s mouth and juice dribbles down, it’s evident that Kevin has not put his coveralls on correctly, meaning that his clothes are becoming covered in watermelon juice. However, he does not seem to notice (or care), even after Antoine less than helpfully points out that it’s a good thing that Kevin is wearing protection for the task. In the studio, Kevin explains that he was too large for them, and that the zipper had broken.
The two contestants take turns feeding one other slices of watermelon. At one point, Kevin – noticing that Marie-Lyne has a larger mouth than him – doubles up two watermelon slices, to see if she can eat through both at once.
Near the end of their time, Kevin wonders if they can simultaneously feed one other, so they give it a try/ As they do so, Marie-Lyne remarks that it is like they are ‘69’-ing.
Kevin leaves the task happy, as it had merely involved eating and not moving.
Kevin and Marie-Lyne eat 600g of watermelon in total – 300g each – and win the task, earning 5 points each.
