Tete’s suggestive broadcast
Tete reminds Atle and the audience that he primarily works in radio and, as such, he needs to be good with words.
Tete submits as his item for the prize pool a USB stick with a recording of what he considers his worst broadcast, and which he wishes no longer existed.
A video clip of the recording is played in the studio, in which Tete’s female co-host Karianne Breivik Eldnes reads a public service announcement, reminding listeners to trim back their overgrown hedges for safety purposes, to improve the visibility of cycling schoolchildren. Not thinking, Tete asks Karianne if she has ever trimmed her hedges – something which sounds very much like a euphemism.
To his credit, Tete immediately realises how what he said could be misinterpreted, as the other hosts laugh at him. His co-host Karianne then throws him a life-line by clarifying that he was indeed asking about the hedges outside of her house.
Atle awards Tete fourth place.
