Stian chains Fido

Before beginning his agility course, Stian explains the intended route: Fido is meant to push a pickle ball underneath the child’s slide, then follow it, and push aside a large beach ball; Fido will then weave through several poles sticking out of the ground before going through the play tunnel (which Stian calls “the sausage”); he will then enter his charging dock and taking a bow.

Stian is smart enough not to leave the success of his attempt to the whims of the robot lawn mower, though. Instead, he duct-tapes a plastic chain to it, so he can pull it in whatever direction it needs to go. However, Stian does a poor job of securing the chain, and so once Fido has cleared the beach ball obstacle, he breaks free of his chain and escapes towards a nearby tree.

Stian attempts to salvage his show by placing a hula hoop in front of Fido for him to ‘jump’ through, but Fido’s front wheels get stuck on the hoop, causing him to back up and find a new direction.

Having learned nothing from the first failed attempt, Stian later does a flamboyant spin with the hoop and places it directly in front of Fido again;. Once again, Fido gets stuck in the hoop, but this time, he just stops moving altogether.

Stian, growing increasingly frustrated, then forces Fido into the play tunnel, and then picks up one end of the tunnel, using gravity to get him through to the other side.

Atle awards Stian second place.
