Josh boils lots of water

Josh starts by proclaiming that ‘hot water is surely the best way’.

He then proceeds to shove the ice block onto the ground, presumably in an attempt to smash it into smaller pieces.

However, given that the block remains largely intact, he returns to the hot water plan, carrying the block into the bathroom.

He places it into the bathtub and begins to run hot water over it, then starts boiling as much water as he can in the kitchen, using the kettle and several cooking pots.

He also attacks the block in the bathtub with a spade to try to break it up.

In total, Josh takes 17 minutes and 4 seconds to make the ice block completely disappear, placing him first in the task.
