Marie-Lyne wraps some bricks
Marie-Lyne takes a few bricks out of the shed and places them in the bag, but then quickly removes them again when she realises that they will likely tear the plastic.
She sources a length of jute fabric from somewhere, and explains to Antoine that she will wrap the bricks in it, to protect the bag from their sharp corners.
Marie-Lyne still seems worried about the bag, though, despite the protective cloth, as she tells Antoine that the bag feels thin, “like joint paper”.
Marie-Lyne fills the bag with enough bricks that she has trouble lifting it up onto the hook, but she manages to do so, and then tells Antoine to start the timer.
When her bag easily passes the hanging test, Marie-Lyne states that she regrets not having added more bricks to it.
With a bag weighing 22lb, she earns second place.
