Sarah claps and claps
Sarah first starts stuffing the chickpeas into her apron, spilling some of them in the process. She’s quick to notice and use the hourglass timer on the table, but fails to notice how long it actually lasts. While picking the plate back up, she manages to again spill some of the chickpeas, forcing her to clap again, using the two-minute timer as her guide once more.
Sarah then tries to use the apron as a big bag to carry most of the food in. Unfortunately, eggs drop out of the side of the bag during this process, forcing her to clap again. She then picks up the milk and makes her way over to Alex.
Sarah quickly steers clear of both Alex decoys but also walks past the real one. She then turns around, notices him, and comes over to him to serve the meal to him. Unfortunately, she continues to spill the food during the process, and has to clap for a minute several more times. A dog also comes over to investigate the situation, while she’s struggling, leading Alex to ask her why there’s “a dog in the restaurant”.
More food spills as she tries to separate the chickpeas from the eggy mess caused by some of the broken eggs, and so much time passes during this process and the subsequent clapping that it eventually starts raining. Already exasperated and tired by her performance, Alex decides to stop Sarah’s clock, and he urges her to take shelter from the rain.
In the studio, it’s revealed that Sarah’s attempt at the task had gone on for so long that Alex had to tell her to hurry up so that they could film some other tasks.
Despite taking a whopping 51 minutes and 26 seconds, and clapping longer than anyone else took to complete the task, Sarah is awarded third place.
