Sophie brings Alex to the meal

Sophie starts by making a well in the middle of the plate of chickpeas, saying that she is doing “deliberate displacement” to prevent herself from spilling and then having to spend time clapping.

She then decides to skip (not run!) with the cutlery, to try to find Alex, and is fooled by both of the Alex decoys in the process. She wanders around the park for a while, screaming for Alex, before angrily finding him.

After telling Alex that she hates him for putting her through this, Sophie asks him if he’s ready to eat, and then tells him to come back with her, if so. Alex agrees with this, meaning that Sophie doesn’t have to bring any of the food to him, but instead brings Alex to the food.

Once they reach the bandstand, Sophie replaces her ‘displaced’ chickpeas on the plate, and then asks Alex to stop the clock.

Sophie manages to serve Alex in 18 minutes and 20 seconds, and wins the task.
