Kevin suffers from microwave blindness

After reading the initial task brief, Kevin leaves the room, asking where the microwave is. He then walks right past it, in his search, and enters the next room. Thankfully, he spies the microwave when he doubles back.

Kevin leaves the previous task brief in place of each new one that he finds.

After finding the final clue, Kevin is confused by the ‘C’, to the point that he removes the false book from its sleeve and sets it upright on the table, wondering if its shape is the ‘C’ the letter is referring to.

Kevin finally wonders if he was meant to keep all of the clues, and so doubles back to the previous locations to retrieve them – once again walking right past the microwave, as he does so.

The edit seems to suggest that Kevin had a bit of difficulty remembering the order in which he had found the clues, which ultimately costs him valuable time. However, he eventually realises that he is meant to shout, and does so.

Kevin completes the task in 5 minutes and 46 seconds, and earns last place.
