The task brief is laid on one of two small side tables in a large, open room of the house. The brief for the task is as follows:
Extinguish this candle from as far away as possible.
The furthest from the candle when it goes out wins.
You may not relight the candle once it goes out.
You have a maximum of 10 minutes.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- Also on the tables, three are shuttlecocks, a racquetball racquet, some rubber bands, a set of bellows, a plastic cup filled with drinking straws, a bucket of water, a vacuum cleaner, a hosepipe, and several other pipes of varying sizes.
- While the contestants are provided with this selection of supplies to use to solve the task, they are not expressly forbidden from finding other items in the house to use.
