Behrouz turns the lab upside down

After a quick search of the table, Behrouz finds the pink sloth sock and one of the black polka dot socks. He also finds the ice cream sock on David’s foot.

Behrouz then starts feeling around the plastic sheeting on the walls, immediately spotting the UV torch when it rolls out across the floor. He starts running the UV light over the socks, searching for clues, but there are none there to be found.

He takes a break from searching with the torch to check David’s mug, and finds the doughnut sock inside. Behrouz then checks the table again, and finds the black polka dot sock in the crossbar of the table.

Although not shown in the footage used in the edit of his attempt, Behrouz finds the pair to the pink sloth sock after he removes his high-vis jacket, and he also turns the table upside-down in his search for more socks.

In his final minute or two, Behrouz puts all of his paired socks on his feet, and then uses his remaining time to keep searching. He actually manages to find the picture of the floral sock within this time, but does not find its pair before the end of the task.

As he leaves the lab, he rhetorically asks what the point of the UV torch was, before dropping it onto the task brief – the very thing upon which it was meant to be used.

Behrouz finishes with four pairs of socks, and earns joint first place.
