Find and proudly wear matching pairs of socks

Task notes

• The contestants enter the lab wearing a yellow high-vis vest and a hard helmet.
• David starts the clock as soon as the contestants enter the lab.
• There are 5 pairs of socks hidden in the lab altogether.
• The two socks laid on the table at the start of the task are a blue sock with an ice cream pattern on it, and a white sock with a doughnut pattern on it.
• David is wearing the other blue sock with ice creams on it, and he is drinking coffee from a large green alien head design mug, which contains the other white sock with doughnuts on it.
• A pink sock with a sloth pattern on it is attached to the back of the contestants’ high-vis vest. Another pink sock with sloths on it is attached to the underside of the table.
• A black sock with polka dots on it is attached to the underside of the drawer, under the table. The second black polka dot sock is stuffed inside one of the crossbars near the wheels of the table.
• A picture of a black sock with a floral design is hidden between two sheets of paper on David’s clipboard. The phrase ‘BLOMMIG STRUMPA’ (‘floral sock’) is written in UV ink on the back of the task brief.
• Inside the drawer of the table, there is a wrapped gift. Inside the multiple layers of wrapping paper, there is absolutely nothing.
• Tucked under the edge of the plastic sheeting hanging on one of the walls, there is a UV torch.
